Find the cash sitting on your shelves

Export stock and the last 90 days of sales per SKU. Divide sales by 90 to get daily sales. Then divide stock by daily sales: that’s days of coverage.

Sort from highest to lowest. Anything above 180 days is cash you won’t see for six months. Stop reordering it. Bundle it, discount it, or move it to another channel.

Watch the other end too. If a best seller has fewer days of coverage than your supplier takes to deliver, it will run out before the next order arrives. Reorder it today.
