More about my experience
I’m Agustín Bosio, an industrial engineer from Argentina, based in Madrid. My work spans logistics, procurement, inventory planning and process improvement, from P&G and BRF to e-commerce businesses such as Sugarwish and Meroda Cosmetics.
At BRF in Argentina, I worked across logistics reporting and network analysis. A truck-loading simulator made capacity visible by volume and weight; redesigned routes and better truck fill helped reduce freight costs by 20%. At P&G, my logistics procurement work in Chile included changing a provider and renegotiating terms to address delays and lower costs.
At Sugarwish, a US gifting company shipping 500,000 packages a year, I developed shipping spend visibility and an online material forecaster connected to its systems. Together with supplier negotiations, the work reduced cost per package from about $9 to about $7 and transit time from 4 to 2.7 days.
At Meroda Cosmetics, I coordinated suppliers in China and moved shipments from air to sea, reducing shipping cost per unit from $0.29 to $0.03. I also ran my own Amazon store, so I know FBA from the seller’s side.
More recently, I worked on data quality at Tragsatec on a large public-sector data program in Spain. I’m completing a BSc in Computer Science at the University of London. This adds programming and data capabilities to the operational experience I bring to each project.
